Maureen Kendal
MSc, FRSA, MBCS
Director
Maureen is Director of Dreamstudio.io and Cecile Elstein Studio Ltd, developing frameworks for artists’ oeuvres and catalogues raisonnés. An artist, author, and producer, her interdisciplinary practice spans drawing, film, sculpture, installation, photography, and virtual worlds, alongside research and teaching in higher education. Her work includes Drawing Journeys, Dolls House 2.0, and Living with Water. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), a Member of the British Computer Society (MBCS), and serves on the EVA (Electronic Visualisation and the Arts) Advisory Committee.
Nalini Singh
Artist & Studio Assistant
Nalini Singh is a London-based computational artist and creative technologist. A multifaceted practitioner, Nalini works at the intersection of art, technology, performance, and social engagement, developing projects that critically and creatively examine how humans communicate, negotiate, and co-exist with machines. Alongside her technological work, she maintains an active theatre and acting practice. This performative lens allows her to approach interaction not only as a function, but as experience, choreography, and expression.
Mark Javin
Studio Curator
London-born Mark Javin (b.1988) is an artist and musician based in Chorlton. Active across Manchester’s artistic and musical communities, he graduated with a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design from University of Salford in 2019, followed by an MA in Illustration from Falmouth School of Art in 2022. He works as a sculptor and painter at Rogue Studios, performs with the musical act Yossari Baby, and currently works as a studio assistant and curator for CES while volunteering at The Whitworth.
Hannah Kane
Studio Curator & Sound Artist
Hannah Kane is a sound artist and music producer with a passion for field recording and music for screen to tell a story. She is currently based in London and works with artists to build their sonic worlds alongside her own.
Molly Goulding
Studio Assistant & Artist
Molly Goulding (b.1999, Cheshire, UK) is an artist living in Stockport. Molly graduated from Manchester School of Art in 2021 with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art and Art History. She has since worked as a gallery assistant and technician. Molly is currently working as a studio assistant for CES.

With hands-on experience in sound, lighting, video production, and stage management, that combines technical expertise with a friendly, proactive approach to make collaboration effortless, dedicated to delivering productions that truly shine
Willa Course
Studio Assistant
Willa Course is a Scottish creative based in Manchester, studying Creative and Cultural Industries at the University of Manchester. Willa specialises in screen-based and photographic media, with a particular focus on double exposure photography and experimental short films incorporating archival footage and research. Her broader practice spans production design and arts production, with experience across multiple multidisciplinary arts festivals throughout the UK.

Innovative and concept-driven designer skilled at translating abstract ideas into built form through the integration of architectural thinking, digital tools, and computational workflows. Experienced in 3D modelling and visualisation.
