I am a London-based painter, printer and ceramicist, exhibiting in gallery and other venues, and leading workshops for all ages and abilities in schools, community centres and in my home-based studio.
My Jewish identity evolved slowly. I grew up in a secular, academic family and lived in many culturally and religiously diverse parts of the UK as well as in New York and Israel.
In a search for home and identity, I began a series of text/photo screen-print collages, gradually, incorporating Jewish references.
Recently, I’ve been drawn to universal imagery connecting heaven and earth, the secular and the spiritual - across religious boundaries and polarities.
