Julia Holt’s work involves developing a visual narrative through both modern poetry and the poetry of ancient texts, incorporating old photographs, video footage, music, and written language alongside the natural landscape.
Exploring her own unique diasporic story, which runs alongside many other distinct narratives, Julia Holt uses painting, drawing, printmaking, and poetry to express the history of the Jewish people and to document the present moment.
She will continue her work with the diaspora, deepening her understanding of her heritage and her place within it.
